- This is a market survey to locate additional sources of supply for a COMMERCIAL 400Hz Frequency Converter, NSN 6130-01-507-7914. This 400Hz Frequency Converter is used in approximately 75ea Electronic Maintenance Repair Shelters, AN/ASM-146( ), th roughout the world. It converts the 60Hz, 120/208VAC, 3-phase input power to 400Hz electrical power, available to each of the 2ea workstations at the 400Hz electrical receptacle outlets. PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a market survey to located additional so urces of supply to design/develop a 400Hz Frequency Converter, again, it is for a commercially available 400Hz Frequency Converter. The present commercial 400Hz Frequency Converter that is being used inside some AN/ASM-146 Shelters is P/N # CW 1 251M-111, as manufactured by Elgar at http://www.elgar.com/. Applicable features, specifications, and Technical Diagrams for this 400Hz Frequency Converter are available at this URL. Additional Sources of supply for a 400Hz Frequency Converter must offer a commercially available 400Hz Frequency Converter that is an equal substitute for form/fit/function parameters to P/N # CW 1251M-111. Interchangeability shall exist in electrical input/output interface cables, to allow easy plug-in with existing cables that are inside the AN/ASM-146 Shelters. Interchangeability shall also exist in fit , so that the replacement 400Hz Frequency Converter will fit exactly in the designated compartment of the electrical rack that is inside the AN/ASM-146 Shelters. The offerer shall also provide a comparable 5-year warranty on each unit, similar as is provided by Elgar for #CW 1251M-111. This acquisition will be for a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with 2 option years. Overa ll range quantities for each year range from a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 30. CECOM will be reviewing this acquisition to determine if it is suitable for Full and Open Competition, or Sole-source. If you are interested in participating in this acquisition, please indicate your size status, Large or Small Business. If Small Business, please indicate the appropriate categories of Small Business that apply to your firm, i.e., Small Disadvantaged 8(a), Woman Owned, HUBZone, or Service Disabled Vete ran-Owned. You must also provide all supporting equipment specifications data/documents for your proposed 400Hz Frequency Converter, and provide any supporting technical documentation to verify/prove that your proposed commercial equipment is equal to t he # CW 1251M-111, as explained above. The burden of proof is on the offeror to prove that their commercial equipment satisfies the above form/fit/function requirement.
