Description

Red River Army Depot has an urgent requirement for the following armored aluminum plates: (1) 1/2 IN X 5 FT X 12 FT: 10 EA (2) 1 IN X 5 FT X 12 FT: 10 EA (3) 1 1/8 IN X 5 FT X 12 FT: 15 EA (4) 1 1/4 IN X 5 FT X 12 FT: 15 EA (5) 1 1/2 IN X 5 FT X 12 FT: 15 EA (6) 3 IN X 5 FT X 10 FT: 1 EA All plates are in accordance with the following specifications: 6.2 Ordering Data. (a) MIL-DTL-46027K (MR) 31 July 2007 (b) Alloy 5083 (c) Class 1 (f) First Article required only if not pre viously approved (g) No special mechanical properties and ballistics requirements (h) Stress Corrosion Testing not required (i) Dimension and tolerance requirements sames as 3.7 and 3.7.1 (j) Impressing stamping permissible (n) Ballistic Testing at: Weapon s 7 Material Research Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-5069 (m) Dimensional sampling procedure not required (o) Rejection and retest requirement in accordance with 4.8 (q) Standard Commercial Packaging. Required delivery for these line items is 1 April 2008. Deliveries on all line items may be accelerated at the contractors discretion. Delivery is FOB Destination, Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, TX 75507-5000. This is an unrestricted procurement. Multiple awards are anticipated. All awards shoul d be made NLT COB 3 March 2008. Any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be a DO rated order certified for national defense use under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) (15 CFR 700), and the Contractor will be required t o follow all of the requirements of this regulation.
