Description

The Government intends to negotiate a commercial item (FAR Part 12) sole source contract with American Association of Critical Care Nurses, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The contract is for access to their E-Learning Programs that are web based courses in ECCO and ECG. This organization provides nurses with certification that is recognized by the VA Nurse Professional Standards Board (VANPSB). This contract will provide site access to all Veterans Integrated Service Network 22 (VISN 22). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The Government intends to award a firm - fixed price contract for a base year, with the Government's option to exercise a one (1) year option period. The solicitation is to be issued on or about March 8, 2008, with offers due on or about February 22, 2008. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. NAICS #813920, Size Standard is $6.5 million.
