Description

The items to procure are S-2 Glass panels made to MIL-L-64154 specifications dated 13 October 1989 and be 20 lbs. per sq. ft. (about 2' thick). Panels include 220 panels at 36'x30' and 440 panels at 36'x60'. FOB is Destination. For use on the ASV FK3 . Estimated issue date is 11 Feb 08. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by acces sing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in f act unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to resp ond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option.
