Description
NAICS Code: 811219 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Thermo Electron North American LLC, 5225 Verona Road, Madison, WI 53711 for the of acquisition of a Essential Support Plan for a TSQ Quantum Ultra AM System and a Finnigan Surveyor Autosampler for one (1) year. Essential Support Plan Includes: Unlimited number of demand on-site service visits with a maximum 72-hour response; Engineer labor and travel included; Priority statues for technical support inquiries, response within 2 Hours; One (1) Scheduled Preventative Maintenance Visit; Thermo Scientific supplied personal computers are covered; Factory-certified replacement parts included; Software updates and notifications; Subscription to e-Support Online Technical Resources. The EPA has identified Thermo Electron Electron North American LLC, as the only vendor capable of satisfying this requirement. The circumstance permitting "Other than full and open competition" is FAR 13.106-1 (b)only one source reasonably available. The intent of this notice is to determine if any other source(s)exist; and therefore, no solicitation (RFQ) is available. Consequently, any response failing to provide the aforementioned data and instead choosing to merely submit a routine letter requesting a copy of the RFQ will be ignored. The information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties who can meet the above requirements may submit written qualification statements, fully explaining their capability no later than 10 days after the date of this publication.
