Description
The Fish and Wildlife Service is issuing a solicitation that will require a contractor to provide psychological testing of Special Agent applicants for our Office of Law Enforcement. The psychological tests administered will consist of the following specific tests and questionnaires: (1) The California Psychological Inventory, (2) The State Trait Anger Expression Inventory (STAXI), (3) The Personal History Questionnaire - Pre-Offer (PHQ), (4) Supplemental Personal History Questionnaire, (5) Psychological History Questionnaire - Post Offer (PsyQ); (6) Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI), (7) Post-Offer Supplemental Psychological History Questionnaire; and (8) Structured Psychological Assessment Interview (Pre- and Post-Offer). Psychological testing materials are needed for approximately 120 applicants. The contractor will score the completed test battery at the interview sites, and will provide the necessary computer, scanner, and printer needed to process the test results. The psychologist will travel with the interview team to process the applicant test results and conduct 10-12 personal interviews (each lasting approximately 45 minutes) per day on site. A schedule will be developed by a law enforcement coordinator prior to each trip. Three to six trips of five to eight days duration will be scheduled startying in late March, into April, May & June, 2008, depending on the interview team's availability. Most of the trips will extend over Saturdays and Sundays, with interviews conducted during the weekend. A base period of performance starting on March 1, 2008, through February 28, 2009, with 4 options to renew are planned. Estimated yearly amount of $40K for 120 pre-offer examinations and 20 post-offer exams. Issuance on or about January 29, 2008, with proposals due 10 days thereafter. This is a total small business set-aside. Interested parties may visit the NBC website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov for a copy of the solicitation.
