- THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE RELEASED VIA THE INTERNET. This will be the only method for distributing solicitation documents and amendments. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING AND DOWNLOADING AT THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE: www..neco.navy.mill The official planholders list will be maintained and can be printed on the website only. Amendments will be posted to the website for viewing and downloading. IT IS THE OFFEROR?S RESPONSIBILITY TO PERIODICALLY CHECK THE WEBSITE FOR AMENDMENTS. ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS AND PLAN ROOMS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER ON THE WEBSITE. All contractual and technical questions shall be submitted to Carrie Grimard via facsimile at 812-854-3800 or e-mail at carrie.grimard@navy.mil Solicitation documents will only be available electronically at the following website: www.neco.navy.mil. Provide twelve semi-trailers with tandom axles, no side doors and metal sides and top. Trailers shall be 48 foot in length and have a 40,000 pound capacity with a 102 inch inside width. Trailers must pass a Road Worthy Inspection upon arrival. All maintenance will be performed by the Government. Term of the lease shall be for a 12-month base period plus two 12-month options periods. Option periods will be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The Government does not guarantee a term longer than the initial 12-month base period. The initial term of the lease shall be for 12 months commencing on the day the tractor-trailers are delivered to NSA Crane. NAICS Code is 532120 ? Truck, Utility Trailer, and RV Rental and Leasing with a size standard of $23.5 million. This solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted procurement. Solicitation documents will only be available electronically at the following website: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Release date is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, January 23, 2008 with proposals due at 4:00 p.m. (EST) on Tuesday, February 5, 2008.
