Description
The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for NSN 3040-99-729-7565, Cylinder assy acutat, part number A0683503A, quantity 4 ea, MFG: VT Marine Products, LTD. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room, Bldg. 88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS OR SPECIFICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. No alternate parts will be accepted. It is anticipated that a non competitive sole source purchase order will be issued for this item to: VT Marine Products, LTD or an authorized distributor. It is the Governments belief that only VT Marine or an authorized dealer can furnish the required parts and ensure the proper fit, form and function of all it components. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to furnish the above items are invited to submit complete information discussing the same in duplicate within 3 days of this announcement. However, other potential sources desiring to furnish other than VT Marine parts are required to submit the following information: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics) or 2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the government or the original equipment manufacturer. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the proposal relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract. The Government does not intend to pay for information solicited. Request for Quotation (RFQ) HSCG40-08-Q-50087 shall be available for download from FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) on or about January 18, 2008. Quotations are due January 25, 2008 and award is anticipated to be made February 4, 2008. Contractors shall use ORCA to electronically submit annual representations and certifications (REPS & CERTS) in accordance with FAR Clause 52.212-3. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the FBO system for changes or amendments to this quotation.
