Description

This acquisition will be in support of Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of CBP Air and Marine. The proposed acquisition will encompass aircraft maintenance and logistics support necessary to ensure that the Government has the numbers, types, and properly configured aircraft available where and when required to meet the Government aviation operational commitments. The Government aircraft are assigned, on a permanent and temporary basis, to Aviation Operational Sites (AOS) strategically located at military air bases, civilian air facilities and alternate sites in the United States and foreign locations. Except for shop evaluations and repairs on specified sensor, communication, and electronic equipment as well as occasional transient support requirements, this contract does not encompass the fleet of CBP P-3 aircraft. The solicitation for this acquisition should be available on or about June 29, 2007. Please do not contact CBP in reference to acquisition before this date.
