Description

The US Geological Survey intends to award a noncompetitive purchase order to the Regents of the Unversity of California at Davis, Center for Watershed Science, for the services of one of their professors to serve as a DELTA REGIONAL ECOSYSTEM RESTORATION IMPLEMENTATION PLAN (DRERIP) consultant. He has unique experience with DRERIP activities and conceptual models, including understanding the effects of temperature stress on salmonids, watershed processes that contribute to these effects, and applying statistical techniques to evaluate the sources of stressors in watersheds. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. Services will be provided in Davis, CA and Sacramento, CA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement to the Contracting Officer by e-mail only (rdonez@usgs.gov) no later than the response date shown in this announcement.
