- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only publication. A written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M6700108Q0027 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for all qualified small businesses. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 113210 and the small business size standard is $6.5 million. Line Item #0001: Containerized Longleaf Seedling, Qty: 200,000, Item Description: Grow 200,000 containerized longleaf seedlings with seedlings with seed provided by Camp Lejeune. Germination rate approximately 90%. Contract grower will arrange delivery of seed from Camp Lejeune to the growing facility. Contractor will pack finished seedlings in boxes of not more than 250 seedlings per box for delivery to Camp Lejeune. Contractors greater than 100 miles from Camp Lejeune will be required to deliver finished seedlings to Camp Lejeune in November 2008. A maximum of three delivieries is required and will be coordinated with Camp Lejeune?s planting contractor. If further description of service is necessary, please email Sgt Noel (email listed below).
