- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Order under NAVAIR Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-05-G-0026 for support and evaluation of wind tunnel tests for the purpose of establishing preliminary store launch and jettison envelopes of Priority Stores Integration (PSI) stores on the F/A-18E/F aircraft. NAVAIR intends to negotiate this Order on a sole source basis with McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC), a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Company, St. Louis, MO 63166-0516. MDC is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and supplier of the F/A-18 Weapon System and MDC is the only known source capable of performing this effort within the required time frame.
