- Amendment 0001 is hereby issued to change the required delivery date for items 0001 and 0002 from January 18, 2008 to February 15, 2008. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number EA133C-08-RQ-0165 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Ocean Service (NOS) Field Operations Division requires the following items: Item 0001: Quantity of forty (40) each 25 ft. fiberglass poles in accordance with the below minimum specifications. Twenty-five (25) each are to be shipped to 7600 Sand Point Way NE, Building 8, Seattle, WA 98115 and fifteen (15) each are to be shipped to 808 Principal Court, Chesapeake, VA 23320. Item 0002: Quantity of six (6) each 20 ft. fiberglass poles in accordance with the below minimum specifications. All six (6) are to be shipped to 808 Principal Court, Chesapeake, VA 23320. Item 0003: Option item to purchase up to forty (40) additional 25 ft. poles as identified in item 0001 for a period of up to one (1) year from date of award. Item 0004: Option item to purchase up to six (6) additional 20 ft. poles as identified in item 0002 for a period of up to one (1) year from date of award. The required delivery date for items 0001 and 0002 is January 18, 2007. All quotes shall be FOB Destination. Minimum Specifications for Fiberglass Poles: - anchor base with 11.5 dia. Bolt Hole Circle - 20 ft. long series (weight 62 lbs., top shaft 4.6 dia., base shaft 7.3 dia., total weight 200 lbs., 120 mph EPA (sq.ft.) 5.9 with a 30% gust factor built in. - 25 ft. long series (weight 75 lbs., top shaft 4.6 dia., base shaft 7.37 dia., total weight 200 lbs., 120 mph EPA (sq.ft.) 3.4 with a 30% gust factor built in. - 2 3/8 in. dia. tenon on top 3 3/4 inches long. - natural finish, color white - 2 1/2" x 5" oval handhole, 18" up from base - conductor entrance The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference: see FAR 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated By Reference (FEB 1998) and FAR 52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998).
