Description

This is a Market Survey to locate sources for TANK, FUEL,ENGINE used on the 60 kW 50/60 HZ Mil Std Generator Set. We are buying a quantity for delivery via a five year flexible long term contract with the following range quantities: 18 low, 30 mediu m, and 88 high per year, for the entire 5 years. The current source for this unit is Quality Defense Spares (QDS), Inc., Cage 0ZSC3. Request that suppliers provide the Government with their Production Lead Time and an economical low, medium and high range for this item. The NSN is 2910-01-150-0729. Government Drawing 70-1052 , revision AC, TANK, FUEL is applicable. CHARACTERISTICS: Capacity: 49 gallons. Shape: Rectangular, Width 27.88 inches, Length 68.00 inches. Fabrication method: Welding. Filler neck included. Suppliers capable of furnishing these metal fuel tanks must so indicate by writing to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-E-GN, Building 1200W, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. The response should include production lead time, number of years part will be available, price break ranges if applicable, or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the fuel tanks. Successful Supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform w hen used for the purpose intended by the Army.
