Description

The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to COGNOS Corporation, 15 Wayside Road, Burlington, MA 01803 for the continuation of maintenance for support of COGNOS software products to include updgrades, repairs, and technical support for a period of 12 months plus a 12 month option year. The COGNOS software is being used to support TRICARE, EI/DS (Executive Information/Decision Support), Operations, Purchased Care Operations and Medica l Surveillance Operations. The COGNOS sofware has been in continuous use in EI/DS standard architecture since 2000. The COGNOS COTS suite is a specific and unique client/server software package integral to the development and maintenance of the named EI/ DS products. No solicitation document exists. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated capability is invited to submit written notification to the Contracting Officer within 15 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Supportin g evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the firm's ability to provide the stated capability. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer at: USAMRAA, ATTN: MCMR-AAA-P (Jodi Cardoza), 820 Chandler Street, Frederick, MD 217 02. No telephone requests will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. I f no responses are received, USAMRAA will proceed with the sole source contract.
