Description
This notice constitutes Amendment No. 003 to the Combined Synopsis/RFQ NNG0847310Q for OSCILLOSCOPE 12 GHz 4 CHANNELS. The purpose of this amendment is to respond to questions raised by the offerors, and to clarify the basic requirements for this procurement. *The oscilloscope requirements are as follows: Number of input Channels: Minimum of 4 input channels Analog Equivalent Bandwidth: 12 GHz on all four channels Sampling Rate: Minimum 40 GSa/s on 2 channels or 20GSa/s on 4 channels RMS Noise Floor: <= 3 mV @ 50 mV/div Trigger Jitter: <= 3 ps RMS Memory Depth per Channel or Maximum Record Length per Channel: 32 Mb (MSa) per channel @ 40 GS/s or 16 Mb (MSa) per channel @ 20 GS/s Warranty: (at least 1 year) Condition: New or Refurbish ***VENDORS MUST SUBMIT A PDF FILE OF THE SPECIFIC SPECIFICATION PROPOSED IN THEIR QUOTE*** *The following are questions from afferors and the answers: Q 1) Memory requirement states ?memory (16 Mpts on 4 channels/32 Mpts on 2 channels)?. Does this mean 32 Mpts on each channel (one or two) at 40 GS/s? A1) 32 Mb (Msa) per channel @ 40 GS/s (two channels) or 16 Mb (Msa) per channel @ 20 GS/s (four channels). Q2) Probes are not specified? Are they required? A2) No probes required. Q3) Do you require the unit be calibrated? And, if so, to what standards? A3) No, not specific calibration needed. Q4) Do you require a warranty? If so, what duration? A4) Yes, at least 1 year warranty is required. Q5) Can you rank brand preference for the following (Agilent, LeCroy and Tektronix) ? A5) No brand preference. Q6) The specifications calls for a memory depth of 16 Mpts on 4 channels/32 Mpts on 2 channels. However, there was no mention of the sample rate needed at this memory depth. Most manufacturers will also specify the sample rate provided at a given memory depth. A) Sampling rate, minimum of 40 GSs/s on 2 channels; 20 GSs/s on 4 channels. *The response date for any technical questions is COB Wednesday 01/09/2008 and the due date for receipts of offers is 3:00 PM ET Friday 01/11/2008.
