- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) China Lake, CA intends to enter into negotiations for a firm fixed price contract on a full and open competition basis for a data acquisition and recording system (DAQ) to be used in a harsh environment. The DAQ will accept signals from several kinds of sensors; apply amplification, filter, and record to a non-volatile memory. The DAQ will be procured on a phased approach and will consist of four (4) different units with 1 unit being procured ASAP, unit 2, unit 3, and unit 4 will be procured as funds become available. The Government plans to exercise all options within twelve months of contract award. Each unit is described below. 1). Unit 1 will be a stand-alone system to monitor and record the following minimum sensor configuration High Speed Bridge 4, Accelerometers 16, Quarter-bridge strain gages 24 Voltage divider 8, thermocouple 16 IRIG B Unit 1 acts as master controller for all attached units. All computer interface setup, communication, timing and control will be through unit 1. 2). Unit 2- a system to monitor and record the following minimum sensor configuration: High Speed Bridge 4, Accelerometers 20, Quarter-bridge strain gages 36, Voltage divider 4, Accept time information, synchronous sample command, recording trigger and computer communication from unit 1. 3). Unit 3 -A system to monitor and record the following minimum sensor configuration High Speed Bridge 8, Accelerometers 4, Quarter-bridge strain gages 32, Voltage divider 20 accepts time information, synchronous sample command, recording trigger and computer communications from unit 1. 4). Unit 4 -A system to monitor and record the following minimum sensor configuration. Accelerometer 16, General Purpose 24, Accept time information, synchronous sample command, recording trigger and computer communications from unit 1. The solicitation with a detailed list of specifications will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online Website at http://www.neco.navy.mil and the FEBBIZOPPS website at http://vsearch2.eps.gov/servlet/searchservlet on or about 01/18/08. The solicitation will close on or about 02/15/08. All responsible sources must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at the following website: https://www.ccr.dlis.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html. Award will be issued under the authority of the test program for commercial items (FAR 13.5). All responsible sources may submit a quotation that will be considered by the agency. Responses must include all information requested in the written Request for Quotation (RFQ). Evaluation for the award will consider price and other factors including technical capability.
