Description

The purpose of this amendment is to add a site visit and to set aside the award for small business. Incorporate Clause 52.237-1 Site Visit Site visit shall be 9 Jan 08 at 10:00 AM. Interested parties shall contact MSgt Cynthia Norton by email cynthia.norton@hickam.af.mil no later than 1:00 PM 7 Jan 08 for instructions to attend the site visit. The receipt of offers is extended until 19 Jan 08 4:00 PM. Interested parties must submit acknowledgement of this amendment with signature and date with offer. Acknowledgement Amendment 01 _______________________________ Signature/ Date This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F2F3237339AU02 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-21. This solicitation is unrestricted and is advertised under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: 562112, with a small business size standard of $11,500,00. Hurlburt Field requires the contractor to furnish all management, labor, materials, tools, transportation, and equipment necessary to perform services on oil-water separators located at Hurlburt Field, FL. Work shall include the removal of all oil, fuel, solids, and miscellaneous debris from oil/water separators, and clean-up of Aqueous Film Forming Foam at various locations in accordance with the Statement of Work, and the terms and conditions of the resulting contract. Work shall comply with all Federal, State and local laws and commercial standards. The government requests that all quotes include pricing for a base period of 9 (nine) months (Febuary 1 2008 through September 30 2008), and 4 (four) option periods of 12 (twelve) months each, beginning October 1 2008. Service schedule shall be coordinated with the Quality Assurance Person after award. Places of performance may be found in Appendix A of the statement of work, and all are located on Hurlburt Field, FL. The Government reserves the right to evaluate proposals and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Offers shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.212-2-Evaluation--Commercial Items (Jan 1999), which is incorporated into this Request for Quote. with addendum to paragraph (a) as follows: The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) technical capability of the services offered to meet the Government requirement as stated in the statement of work; (ii) price. The successful Offeror will be the Offeror that is determined to be the lowest price technically acceptable. This means that award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors.
