- Description
- NAICS Code: 812930 The US Environmental Protection Agency's Criminal Investigations Division (CID) intends to award a sole source fixed-price purchase order to San Francisco Parking, Inc. The estimated value of the order is $21,780 for 11 months. The period of performance will be February 1, 2008 - December 31, 2008. The purpose of this purchase order is to obtain nine (9) secured parking spaces with 24-hour per day access to the parking area for Government law enforcement vehicles in the support of the EPA in San Francisco, CA. The EPA office is located at 75 Hawthorne Street, San Francisco, CA. This action will be processed in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) as it was determined that the circumstances of the contract action deemed only one source reasonably available. The justification is as follows. Secure parking spaces are required for government owned or leased law enforcement vehicles. Access to the parking area is required at all times (24 hours per day). If parking cannot be provided on-site, it should be located within a two block radius of the office. Preference will be given to secured, covered, on-site parking. San Francisco Parking is the only vendor that can provide parking that meets these requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting the EPA's requirements as stated herein may submit a capabilities statement, which will be considered only if received by 4 pm EST on Wednesday, January 16, 2008. Responses to this posting must be in writing and submitted to Rachel Schwartz by e-mail to schwartz.rachel@epa.gov. A determination by the Government not to complete this proposed purchase order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a compeititve procurement. Any questions concerning this announcement should be directed to Rachel Schwartz via e-mail by close of business January 9, 2008.
