Description

Requirement for award of a firm-fixed price contract to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to remove existing roof and replace with EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) Sheet Roofing, Bldg. 1680, Fort McCoy, W I in accordance with specifications, drawings and conditions contained in the Invitation for Bid. The performance time is 50 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued (Contractor will be allowed to commence work in the spring). The project mag nitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. A 20% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds will be required after award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238160 with a small business size standard of $13 Million. T his Invitation for Bid will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. Bidding documents will be available electronically at www.fedbizops.gov on or about 7 January 2008. 5 AprilTelephonic, written, faxed, or electronic request for hard copies of proposal do cuments will be denied. Interested parties must access the web page for issuance of the Invitation for Bid, associated documents, and any amendments that may be issued. Contractors will NOT be directly notified of amendments. The Bid due date will be appro ximately 30 days after issuance (initial posting on website) as indicated on Invitation for Bid. All bidding forms, bid bonds, and other documents required for bid submittal shall be in paper medium. Electronic submission of bid documents will NOT be allo wed. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered.
