- Description
- The United States Marshals Service, Business Services Division, Procurement Office intends to issue a solicitation for PARKING SPACES under full and open competition procedures. Interested small businesses that are certified and qualified as a small business concern in NAICS code 812930, size standard $6.5 million dollars are encouraged to submit a capabilities package outlining their ability to provide: Secure 24-hour parking for a minimum of twenty-five (25) and a maximum of fifty (50) Government Owned Vehicles. The Government will initially contract for 25 parking spaces and will provide the vendor/contractor 30-60 days notice prior to requesting any additional parking spaces. The facility must be located within 4 blocks of 500 Indiana Avenue N.W., Washington, D.C. After hours access must be controlled via guard, keycard or other electronic device. Spaces must accommodate mid-size Sport Utility Vehicles (SUV) and full size passenger vehicles. Parking spaces must accommodate immediate ingress/egress for emergency deployment as required. Parking should also protect vehicles from inclement weather. Capability packages must be submitted by December 31, 2007, 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). If at least two (2) responsible small business concerns are determined by the government to be capable of performing this requirement based on a review of the capabilities packages, the requirement will be solicited as a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. If capability packages are not received from at least two (2) responsible small business concerns by the response date or if the government determines that no small businesses are capable of performing this requirement, based on a review of the capabilities packages submitted, this requirement will be solicited under full and open competition procedures. The period of performance is a base period of seven (7) months: 1 March 2008 - 30 September 2008, and four (4) option years. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code and be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov. A written Request for Quotes (RFQ) will be posted on or about January 16, 2008. This will be an electronic solicitation release. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. All amendments to the solicitation will be posted to this FedBizOpps website. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be complied. No hard copies will be mailed. The vendors are responsible for all costs for producing and mailing their packages.
