Description: The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to The University of Rhode Island, Research Office, 70 Lower College Road, Kingston, RI 02881-1967 for continuation of an on-going project studying natural and anthropogenically induced changes to coastal environments and coastal erosion hazards along the North East United States coastline and the Great Lakes. Final data related to this project to be delivered to U.S. Geological Survey, Kingston, Rhode Island on or before 09/30/2008. The University of Rhode Island is the only known source for this requirement because a substantial portion of this research has been completed and only requires the generation and processing of data to develop figures for final reports and publications. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Other interested concerns having the ability to furnish this item shall submit a capabilities statement to the Contract Specialist no later than the closing date of this announcement.
