Description

Directorate of Contracting, U.S. Military Academy, West Point, NY intends to award on a sole source basis with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This award is a sole source Firm Fixed Price Contract to Thomson Scientific for subscri ption services to the Web of Science online databases utilized in the Cadet Library at the United States Military Academy. There is no solicitation available for this procurement. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intend s to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all capability statements received by 1 1:00 AM on 20 December 1007. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
