Description

AMCOM plans to issue Request for Proposal (RFP), W31P4Q-08-R-0197 on or before 31 Jan 2008. Proposal responses to the RFP should be submitted no later than the closing date stated in the RFP. Issuance of RFP W31P4Q-08-R-0197 is for a basic AMCOM re quirement for the Demilitarization (Demil), Recycle, or Disposal of approximately 4,002-6,000, MLRS, M26(H104) Rocket Pod Containers (RPCs), Rockets, and Components during the proposed basic contract award year, with 4 yearly contract range options for up to a total of 89,016 over the next 5 years. AMCOM is seeking industry proposal responses that use processes, equipment and facilities that do not require research and development and/or facilitization. Proposals in response to RFP W31P4Q-08-R-019 7 may be submitted by any entity including commercial firms, institutions of higher education with degree-granting programs in science and/or engineering (universities), or by consortia led by such concerns. AMCOM encourages participation by small busines s, small disadvantaged business, Hub-zone small business, woman-owned small business, veteran owned small business and historically black colleges and universities and minority institutions. All information received in response to RFP W31P4Q-08-R-01 97 marked proprietary will be handled accordingly. All interested responsible businesses are encouraged to submit a proposal.
