- This announcement is amended to answer the following questions: The period of performance will be five weeks A firm fixed price contract will be issued The companies listed on the drawings are recommended sources, but any equivalent materials that meet the specifications on the drawings will be acceptable. This is a TOTAL HUBZONE SET-ASIDE.This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F1B2T171341A001 is hereby issued as a FOB Destination Request for Quote. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-21. This acquisition is classified under North American Industry Classification System code 314912 (Size Standard 500 employees). A Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order will be issued in writing. Quote FOB destination to Bldg 302, Altus AFB, OK 73523. Altus AFB, Oklahoma has a requirement for the following wheel covers: Cover, KC-135 landgear covers, color black, manuafactured in accordance with CAD drawings (available upon request), part number W99904, 18 sets (2 covers). Drawings are available upon request, email lori.clinton@altus.af.mil for copies of the drawings. When submitting a quote, please provide the following: tax ID number, how long quote is good for, and a contact e-mail address. Award will be based on price. FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT; HOWEVER, A REQUEST FOR FUNDING IS INCLUDED IN THE FY08 SPEND PLAN. AWARD IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDS BECOMING AVAILABLE ON OR BEFORE SEPTEMBER 30, 2008. ALL QUOTES NEED TO BE VALID UNTIL February 28, 2008.
