Description

LAKE COUNTY, INDIANA The work of this contract consists of making interior improvements to the Paul H. Douglas Center for Environmental Eduction located at 100 N. Lake Street, Miller Beach (Gary), Indiana. Work shall include but may not be limited to: the installation of three Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant door operaters and six actuators, wireless doorbells, a metal door threshold , replacement of cabinetry, relocation of electrical receptacles, the replacement of approximately 350 s.f. of commercial grade carpeting, associated mastic, and baseboard, and approximately 2,000 s.f. of painting. All work shall meet or exceed the ADA Standards for Accessible Design as outlined under 28 CFR Part 36 which can be found at: http://www.usdoj.gov/ccrt/ada/adastd94.pdf. A HARD COPY OF THE RFQ WILL NOT BE ISSUED. All files are available for download in ADOBE ACROBAT PDF format from INTERNET URL http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Magnitude of Project: $50,000.00 to $100,000.00.
