Description: The National Geospatial Intelligence Agency announces the solicitation of Interpreting Services, American Sign Language (ASL), Interpretation, and Transliteration Services. This is a competitive Small Business Set Aside acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541930 with a size standard of $6M. The Government plans to award one time and materials contract as a result of this solicitation using a Best Value Trade Off analysis in Accordance with FAR Part 15. The period of performance for this contract will be one base year with two option years from the date of award. The contractor will provide services that facilitate communications between Deaf or Hard of Hearing individuals and hearing individuals who lack the skills necessary for interpretion and transliteration. These services are required in accordance with the specification outlined by the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Section 501. The contractor shall provide these services using American Sign Language, oral interpretation, and transliteration visible text. All responsible sources may submit a proposal in response to the solicitation which shall be considered by this agency. Estimated issue date for the solicitation is 11 January 2008. Estimated due date for receipt of proposals is 31 January 2008. The complete solicitation will be made available through FedBizOps and FedTeds websites. No hard copies will be provided. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the websites for any changes or updates. Potential offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR).
