- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking competent and qualified contractors interested in providing offers for the Replacement of the HVAC, Building 8, ARTCC, Albuquerque, New Mexico. The work will consist of, but is not limited to, the following: Demolition Work - Removal of existing rooftop air conditioning unit and 19 Variable Air Volume (VAV) boxes along with their controls; removal of slotted diffusers in conference rooms and electrical demolition. Installing a new rooftop VAV air conditioning unit, modifying the roof structure to support the new rooftop unit, installing 19 new VAV boxes, installing new diffusers in two conference rooms, installing new controls for the rooftop unit and VAV boxes, and electrical work. 1. This project is a total set-aside for Small Business concerns. 2. Contract performance period is 30 calendar days. It is anticipated that ninety (90%) percent of the work can be completed during normal work hours. The other ten (10%) percent may need to be completed during off normal work hours (after 5:00 pm). 3. NAICS code is 238220 - ($13M): Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors 4. Estimated Bid Range: Between $100,000 and $250,000. 5. The contractor is expected to perform at least 25% of the work using its own employees. 6. It is strongly urged that the contractor carefully examine the premises to determine the extent of work. 7. Contractors must have active registration in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before award can be made. Contractors can register at www.ccr.gov/. THE CONTRACTOR MUST SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTATION IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE THE SOLICITATION 1. DOCUMENT SECURITY NOTICE TO PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS NOTE: Contractors must provide a List of Employees and a List of Subcontractors as required by paragraph 1, items (b) and (c) on page 2 of the Sensitive Security Information form. 2. BUSINESS DECLARATION 3. REFERENCES, PAST PERFORMANCE - The contractor must provide the name of the facility where work was performed, contract number, along with a point of contact at the facility and telephone number For security reasons, all technical and engineering data related to this solicitation will be distributed using the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS) system. FedTeDS is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies. Interested offerors must register with FedTeDS before accessing the system.
