- The U.S. Coast Guard is setting aside this acquisition for Total Small business concerns. The Coast Guard intends to conduct this procurement in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The NAICS Code is 336611. The acquisition is for drydock repairs to the USCGC AXE (WLIC-75310) a 75 foot ?D? class Inland Construction Tender and 68 foot Barge at the contractor?s facility. The performance period will be 49 days with a start date on or about April 7, 2008. The homeport of the vessel is Morgan City, LA. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the FEDBIZOPPS web page on or about January 3, 2008 at http://www.fbo.gov/.
