- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Science and Space Exploration Technology Support which was originally posted on June 22, 2007. You are notified that the following changes are made: 1. Contract type is Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) task orders. 2. Period of performance: Five years from contract award date (Two year base period, three one year options). 3. The Environmental Management Plan will be required after contract award. The RFP will be revised. 4. FedBizOpps has implemented North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 2007 which has resulted in changes to some NAICS codes. The NAICS code for this procurement is now 541712?Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Biotechnology). The Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees (average employment of a firm). A size standard is the largest that a for-profit concern can be and still qualify as a small business for Federal Government programs. Calculation of average employment of a firm can be found in 13 CFR 121.106. 5. There will be a pre-proposal conference on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 9:00 am at the NASA Glenn Research Center, Cleveland, Ohio, Building 500 (Development Engineering Building, or DEB), Room 3102.
