- U. S. Army Sustainment Command (ASC) has a requirement for a contractor to provide vehicle and equipment maintenance services (including preventive maintenance, battery maintenance and exchange, load test and inspection, repair and overhaul, modifica tions, spot painting, welding, glass and upholstery service), for vehicles and equipment located at the Blue Grass Army Depot by means of a combination firm fixed-price items and time and material repairs. The anticipated period of performance under this c ontract will be a base year with the possibility of four (4) one year option years, for a total of up to five years. ASC intends to issue Request for Proposal, W52P1J-08-R-3018 to the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Website, http: //acquisition,army.mil on or about 20 Dec 2007 with opening 30 days from issuance. This contract will be restricted under NAICS 811310 as a small business set-aside classification. Small Business is $6,000,000.00 or less. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Cont ractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DOD Contract. You may register via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. All offerors are also to submit representations and certifications electronically via the Business P artner Network. Offerors shall complete an Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Interested firms are invited to submit proposals after this solicitation is posted to the web. Amendments applicable to this solicitation will be post ed to the web. It will be the responsibility of the contractors to check these websites for the issuance and any changes to the solicitation.
