Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation W911S2-08-T-0022 is issued as a Request for Quote for a Blanket Purchase Agreement for Forklift Rental.The North Am erican Industry Classification System is 532412 with a business size standard is $6.5 million. RFQ will be evaluated on availability and price.Requirement: Variable Reach, Rough Terrain forklift with 10,000 capacity.Lease includes 160 hours allowance per m onth of engine run time per unit per month. Rental to include road tech 24- hour service (to include service and repair of normal wear and tear). A joint vehicle inspection will be performed at time of equipment delivery and time of equipment pickup. Equip ment pickup and delivery will be specified with each individual call. Contractor shall furnish the contract specialist a copy of both vehicle inspection forms. Failure to furnish inspection forms may result in delay of payment. Equipment to be delivered an d picked up with a full tank of fuel.Must be able to lift and move a standard commercial industry warehouse pallet. Must be able to lift and move a Tricon container not exceeding 10,000 pounds. Dimensions of a Tricon include the length at 96 inches and the width at 78 inches. Must be able to pickup from both sides (the length and width). Fork pocket dimensions are 4.06 inches for height and 14.0 inches for the length. Quote should be priced in the following structure, Per day,Per week, Per month. Estimate o f the first call is 8 fork lifts for 4 months.
