- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice for Roofing Requirements at Lackland AFB, TX. The proposed contract will include maintenance, repair, and replacement of various roofs located on Lackland AFB to include Wilford Hall Medical Center (a high rise structure), Kelley Field Annex, Lackland Training Annex, and selected sites at Camp Bullis. The contractor shall furnish adequate supervision, labor, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to perform all the construction services contemplated under this contract. The location of the contract is Bexar County, TX. This acquisition will be solicited as a Request For Proposal, source selection will be conducted in accordance with the Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT). A Multiple Award (2), Fixed-Price Construction contracts will result from the solicitation. Estimated Request for Proposal Issue Date is: 27 July 2007. Estimated Proposal Closing Date is: 27 Aug 2007. This will be an electronic solicitation release. No hard copies will be mailed. Solicitation, amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be posted to FedBizOpps (http://www.fbo.gov). It is the responsibility of each offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates, or changes to current information. The performance period will include a one-year base period (29 Sep 2007 to 28 Sep 08) with four, one-year option periods. This acquisition is set-aside competitively for 8(a) concerns located within San Antonio, TX SBA Region. In order to be eligible for award, registration in the Central Contractor Registration database is required. To register, please go to http://www.ccr.gov. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 238160 (Roofing Contractors). The small business size standard is $13 million in annual gross receipts.
