Description
NASA/DFRC has a requirement for 56 Pressure Transducers. [SPECIFICATIONS] The specifications are: 28-Pressure Transducer XTEL-190-4G for PA-1 28-Pressure Transducers XTEL-190-15A, for AA-1 All Pressure Transducers should have the following specifications: Range: 4 PSI Vented Gage (PA-1) and 15 PSI Absolute (AA-1) Operating Temperature Range: -65F to +525F Compensated Temperature Range: 0F to +525F Thermal Zero Shift: +/- 1% FS/100F (typ) Thermal Sensitivity Shift: +/- 1% FS/100F (typ) Port Configuration: 0.437? long with 10-32 UNF-2A threads, B screen Cable: 30 inch long 30AWG shielded Other specifications per data sheet XTEL-190 (M) No dynamic calibration NASA/DFRC intends to purchase the items from Kulite Semiconductor Products. This vendor can provide the pressure transducers that meet the temperature ranges that are required to meet our project's needs. In addition, NASA Dryden already has electronic interfaces between the transducers and the data acquisition system in the calibration laboratory as well as the existing vehicle data acquisition system that are compatible with the Kulite transducers. This electronic interface capability is critical to meeting the project's requirements. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on November 30, 2007. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
