Description
The Government intends to negotiate a sole source, Firm Fixed Price contract and will utilize procedures in accordance with FAR Subpart 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Universal Air Products Corp. for 2 Ea - Hose Real Storage Packs P/N UAPHYDH4HGPPP or equal, each unit will be equipped with (1) Hannay Reel capable of storing 4" hose, and will be hydraulic chain drive, the unit will be equipped with a Honda Gas Powered Hydraulic Power Pack and Control Valve will allow you to start, stop and control the speed of the reel the average rewind rate is 150' per minute. All items listed will come prepackaged and piped as a turn key unit ready for installation on a truck, as required by NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Va. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 16 November 2007 by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: https://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The size standard is 500 employees and the applicable North Ameri can Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333298. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registrat ion and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Note 22 applies.
