- ORIGINAL SYNOPSIS WAS POSTED UNDER VA256-08-RQ-0043. The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (VISN16) has a requirement to locally fabricate and repair artificial limbs for eligible beneficiaries of this Medical Center for the period of January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008, with four (4) one-year options exercised at the Government's discretion. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with all specifications, statement of work, terms and conditions contained therein. NAICS code is 339113. The corresponding small business size standard of 500 employees or less. This will be a partial small business set aside. The Government anticipates five (5) awards on a best value basis to meet the needs of Veterans throughout the facility primary service area. A minimum of four (4) of these awards will be made to small business concerns. Electronic version of this solicitation should be available on or about November 16, 2007. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. All questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer (Michael D. Barger) on or before December 1, 2007 by 3:00 PM local time at fax number 501-257-1055 (routing code 120), or by e-mail to michael.barger1@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Please state the solicitation number on subject line, or e-mail may not be opened. All offers from qualified responsible sources currently providing services in the facility primary service area will be considered. Faxed or e-mailed proposals will NOT be accepted. Proposals are due December 17, 2007 by Noon local time.
