Description
SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE TO AWARD A CONTRACT WILL BE MADE TO A CONTRACTOR THAT CAN MEET THE REQUIREMENTS LISTED BELOW - Contractor services for commercial cleaning of Individual Combat and Clothing Equipment (ICCE) and Ceremonial Uniforms (blue all weather coats, pillow cases and sheets). Requires consistency in workmanship, quality of cleaning, and appearance. These are the key elements when cleaning Individual Combat and Clothing Equipment and Ceremonial Uniforms: (a) Contractor must utilize a fire retardant, waterproof, extended life uniform chemical that reduces replacement cost annually to the Marine Barracks. (b) Specific cleaning of Ceremonial Uniforms per MCO 10120.34 requires extended life preservation of Individual Combat Clothing and Equipment to preserve and protect Marines in hostile combat areas. (c) The Contractor is responsible for pick-up and delivery of Individual Combat and Clothing Equipment (ICCE) and Ceremonial Uniforms between the hours of 0800 - 1600 Monday through Friday. Pick-up and delivery address is - Marine Barracks, Post Supply, 8th & I Streets, S.E., Washington, DC 20391 (d) The Contractor will perform emergency service on a 2 - 4 hour call for pick-up with delivery within 24 hours. (e) Selected contractor must be constant and maintain specific color pallet consistency and preservation. This Sources Sought is a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the services sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the government is available. The estimated gear quantity is as follows: (1)BIVI COVERS 500 EA (2) CAPS 200 EA (3) PARKA TOP 1,500 EA (4) PARKA BOTTOM 1,500 EA (5) FIELD JACKET 225 EA (6) C/W SHIRTS 500 EA (7) C/W TROUSERS 500 EA (8) PONCHO LINERS 400 EA (9) SLEEPING BAGS 550 EA (10) SHEETS 2,000 EA (11) PILLOW CASES 2,000 EA (12) HELMET COVER 150 EA (13) GREEN FLEECE 250 EA (14) WINTER COAT 500 EA (15) BAW 250 EA. The Government will be the sole determiner regarding an offeror?s ability to meet all requirements. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
