- The purpose of the Draft RFP is to enhance Industrys understanding of the Governments requirements and solicit feedback to assist the Government in finalizing its acquisition strategy. This Draft RFP shall not be misconstrued as the Governments request for proposals . The RFP is subject to change based on the Governments consideration of Industrys feedback and final acquisition strategy for STOC II. Questions or comments pertaining to the Draft solicitation shall be submitted in accordance with Section L.1.12 of the Draft solicitation. Description: The U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) Acquisition Center in Orlando, FL has a requirement to award an omnibus contract vehicle to assist PEO STRI and its customers in satisfying mission requirements. The omnibus contract to be awarded, known as STOC II (PEO STRI Omnibus Contract II), will be a set of multiple-award Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to provide simulation, training and instrumentation products and services for t he warfighter, beginning with concept development and continuing throughout life cycle support. The objectives of this acquisition include but are not limited to: 1) facilitate the leveraging of programs and technology (to include Joint and/or Joint-rel ated) in the best interests of the U.S. Army and Department of Defense; 2) prepare the warfighter to meet the challenges of the future Joint operational environment; and 3) support continued growth in the interoperability of Live, Virtual, Constructive and Testing solutions to enhance training and testing capabilities of the warfighter. The STOC II competition will consist of a full & open competition along with a partial small business set-aside as set forth in the Draft solicitation. In addition to FedBizOpps, information pertaining to this acquisition will be posted to the STOC II webpage accessible via the link provided above. The STOC II webpage also provides potential offerors with the anticipated milestone schedule for this acquis ition. PEO STRI encourages Industry to monitor these sites periodically for information and updates.
