- Architect Engineering Services required to provide complete design and construction period services for Project 568-08-201, Remodel Primary Care at the VA Black Hills Health Care System, Hot Springs, SD 57747.This project will renovate the existing Primary Care area on the ground floor of the hospital to improve patient privacy and improve flow through the area. Currently there is heavy traffic through the exam areas from patients and visitors that should not be in the area which creates congestion and reduces patient flow efficiency. The project will consolidate exam rooms toward the end of the wing and install a set of double doors in the wing to reduce unnecessary traffic in the exam areas. The project will also consolidate waiting areas. The project will also consist of replacement of the existing condensing unit serving the area and other modifications to the existing HVAC system as required and plumbing and electrical modifications as necessary to accommodate the renovations in the area. Construction estimate is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This procurement is set aside for small Architect/Engineering firms. Ardchitect/Engineering firms capable of providing these services are to submit a current SF 330 for review and consideration by close of business December 7, 2007 to the attention of the Contracting Officer, (Log-Con-HS), VA Black Hills Health Care System, 500 North 5th Street, Hot Springs, SD 57747.
