- Description
- The FAA has a requirement for repair services of approximately 18 different items such as circuit card assemblies and power supplies, not inclusive, with various estimated annual quantities. These items are required to support the Airport Surveillance Radar 11 (ASR-11) Digital Airport Surveillance Radar (DASR) System, which is used by the FAA and DoD to control air traffic operations in a terminal airport environment. The requirement is for a base year and includes option provisions to renew for four additional 1-year periods, to be exercised at the sole discretion of the FAA. The FAA intends to solicit and negotiate only with Sensis Corporation located in East Syracuse, NY in accordance with AMS Policy 3.2.2.4. A market survey was conducted April 6, 2007, through April 13, 2007, and the results of this survey supported the determination to solicit and negotiate with only one firm. This announcement is for information purposes only.
