Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration intends to award a sole source order to Americom Government Services, Inc., McLean, VA for the acquisition of 12 months of satellite maintenance services on: (1) Mexico / Bahamas BOD Equipment Upgrade Lease including Mazaltan and Freeport Sites; (2) Terrestrial Charges 1544 Kbps for Brewster, WA, 60 Hudson, NY, and Woodbine Sites. The proposed order is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with the Americom Government Services under authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1 Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been justified, certified and approved for Americom Government Services. The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Part 13 "Simplified Acquisition Procedures". The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed-price purchase order. Interested partied may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quote (RFQ) is not available. Closing date is November 14, 2007 at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time.
