- 29-STATOR, ENGINE GENER, SOL FA8104-07-R-0486. Three year (One year basic and two option years) contract contemplated. Item 0001 NSN 2925-01-206-7723, P/N: 4057416. Provides alternating current to ignition exciters and engine electronic control. Colil, laminations, and stator, aluminum alloy housing. Year One BEQ: 61, Year Two BEQ: 49, Year Three BEQ: 46. Delivery to be cited on individual delivery orders. Applicable to F100/220-229 Engine. Ship to: FB2039, Tinker AFB, OK. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 07 June 2007. The anticipated award date will be 07 August 2007. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The government is not required to delay contract award to review pending SARS. Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARS as soon as possible if the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. These qualification requirements apply to Line Item 0001. Approved Source: Unison Industries - Cage Code: 83311. All proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Award will be made to the qualified source with the lowest price and technical acceptability as detailed in the solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
