- Description
- Carriage is to be of 12 gauge steel, 5 high with retaining flange, rated at 750 - 1000 pounds per foot, and have full length tubular drive shaft 1 O.D.. Any span over 9 must be rated at 1000 pounds per foot. Standard rail is to be 1 H x 4 W x 1 bar stock. Wheels are to be 5 double flanged, machined steel with 3-1/2 contact bearing surface. Wheel shaft is to be 3/4 diameter solid stress-proof steel. End frame is to be of 18 gauge steel. Gear drives must be double reduction. Rails must be shimmed. Grouting is not accepted. Four post shelving is required. Plywood decking is to be installed between rails. Systems are to be installed by documented certified installers. Existing Times 2 file cabinets, approximately 160, are to be removed from the facility by the contractor. Past performance of existing mobile track filing systems is requested along with location and point of contact. Five year warranty on materials and installation is required.
