- 31-, SOLICITATION NUMBER FA8104-08-R-0093, OC-ALC/CBSG/PKB, TINKER AFB OK 73135-3030, for addition information contract Irene Mireles/CBSG/PKB/405-734-8775, Email: Irene.mireles@tinker.af.mil. This is a Solicitation for a quantity range of 13 through 52 and 53 through 78 each for NSN 3110-01-388-9826, Bearing, Ball, Annula and Part Number: 4081023, 4081019, 4081020, or 4081024. Data Line Item for Comprehensive Engine Management System (CEMS) applies. Form/Fit/Function: This bearing is used to stabilize the inlet fan and fan drive turbine as they meet in the core. All aspects of this part are crucial. Predominant material of manufacture is PWA 793 Steel. Dimension: Approximate 7.990 x 4.33045 x 1.408. Destination: FB2039, Delivery: Delivery is 30 November 2009. The approximate solicitation issue date will be November 23, 2007. The anticipated award date will be 31 December 2007. Potential sources are not to utilize intellectual property of third parties without appropriate authorization of the intellectual property owner. Potential sources are cautioned that no part of the government property qualification requirement is intended to endorse or encourage the improper use of intellectual property developed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or any other third party. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firms(s) listed: Pratt & Whitney, East Hartford CT, FAG Bearing LTD (36069), MRC Bearing Co (38443) and Torrington Co., (21335). Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, technical capability, and past performances detailed in the solicitation. Note: an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
