Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) amends the subject announcement to provide Government responses to vendor questions that were generated by the release of the Screening Information Request (SIR), Request for Offer DTFAWA-07-R-00027, Amendment 1. The responses are attached. A SIR Amendment will be released to incorporate changes necessitated by the responses. The FAA intends to add the following Mentor Prot??g?? Program Clauses to Sections I and M of the SIR in a subsequent amendment. It should be noted that the Mentor Prot??g?? Program is not mandatory. FAA AMS Clauses 3.6.1-9 and 3.6.1-11 will be added to Section I, Contract Clauses, by reference and FAA AMS Clause 3.6.1-10 will be added to Section M, Evaluation Factors for Award, by reference. Participation or non-participation in the program will not impact evaluations. The FAA has completed the analysis of the Market Survey (6059) responses and has determined that there is no reasonable expectation of obtaining offers from two or more responsible small business concerns that meet the minimum experience requirements for the 561621, Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths) size standard. Therefore, the competition will remain full and open. None of the five files currently on the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS.gov) website are updated with this amendment. The Offeror's completed proposal must be submitted no later than 2:00 P.M. local time on December 4, 2007. The FAA will not be liable for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to the RFO, nor reimburse or otherwise pay any costs incurred by any party responding to this announcement. Written questions or comments should be submitted by email to Bill Willenbring at (bill.willenbring@faa.gov). Facsimile messages can be sent to (202) 267-8645. Please note that questions will not be accepted by telephone.
