- Description
- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The required service is to provide Grounds Maintenance Services at Patrick AFB, FL. Services include, but are not limited to, furnishing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform grounds maintenance at Patrick AFB, FL, including Military Family Housing areas for Change of Occupancy Maintenance (COM); perform to the standards outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW) in a manner that will maintain healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants, and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance. Period of performance will begin on 1 Oct 2003 with a base year and four one-year options. This acquisition is set aside for competition among 8(a) firms in the state of Florida only. The SIC code is 078M, the NAICS is 561730, and the small business size standard is $6M. Solicitation No. F08650-03-R-0032 will be issued as a Request for Proposal. Solicitation issue date of 5 Jun 03, past performance date of 19 Jun 03 and proposal due date of 30 Jun 03 are all tentative dates. A site visit by bus only has been scheduled for 17 Jun 03. Confirmation of your registration will include information regarding the bus pick-up location and the site visit schedule. The geographical restriction of the competition will be limited to 8(a) certified firms located within the geographical area serviced by SBA within the State of Florida and other firms having a bona fide branch office located within the geographical boundaries of the relevant competitive areas. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. All responsible 8(a) sources in the state of Florida may submit an offer that will be considered by the 45th Space Wing.
