Description
An oral request for quotations will be solicited for the following item as a small purchase: Liner, Intermediate, Desert/Tropical, TEMPER NSN: 8340-01-211-9636 to be manufactured in accordance with specification MIL-T-44243. Quantity: 550 each. Two deliveries are expected, required delivery beginning one hundred fifty (150) days after date of award and every thirty (30) days thereafter. This solicitation will be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The destinations for subject items are Defense Depot Barstow, CA and Defense Depot New Cumberland, PA. Submittal of First Article is required sixty (75) days after date of award. Specifications, patterns, drawings or other applicable documents, can be obtained by contacting Rhoda Forman by email at Rhoda.forman@dla.mil or Commercial phone at 215-737-2412/Fax 215-737-3276. If you wish to offer on this Request for Quotes, send your offer to the above email address by 16 Nov 2007, 3:00 P.M. Phila. PA time. DFARS clause 252.211-7006 Radio Frequency Identification applies to this solicitation. The Defense Appropriations and Authorization Acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as The Berry Amendment) impose restrictions on the DoDs acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and specialty metals (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014), including the materials and components thereof (other than sensors, electronics, or other items added to, and not normally associated with clothing), must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
