Description

Pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program and the Department of the Interior Acquisition Policy Release (DIAPR) 2007-07, the National Park Service intends to issue an Request for Quotation on an unrestricted basis for the repairs to the metal standing seam roof of the maintenance warehouse located at the Davis Bayou Maintenance Area, Gulf Islands National Seashore, Ocean Springs (Jackson County), Mississippi. This acquisition is open to large and small business. The North American Industry Classification code is 238160. The small business size standard is $13.0 millions. This procurement is estimated between $25K and $100K. The Request for Quotation will be released to the General Public on or about 11/14/2007 at the following website address http://ideasec.nbc.gov. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE MAILED OR FAXED. All offeror must submit their bid electronically at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. NO OTHER METHOD WILL BE ACCEPTED. All bids must be received no later than 12/14/2007 for consideration. No fax or email offerors will be accepted. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes all labor, materials, supervision and equipment to repair missing or damaged panels and associated trim, eave, ridge vent in accordance with the requirements set forth in the Scope of Work. SITE VISIT: An orgainzed site visit has been scheduled for Tuesday, 11/20/2007 at 10:00 am. All interested parties are to meet at Gulf Islands National Seashore, Davis Bayou Maintenance Area, 3500 Park Road, Ocean Springs, MS 39564. CONSTRUCTION PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 30 calendar days after Notice To Proceed. All contractors must be registered on the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) website as a active vendor in order to be eligible for an award and receive payment against an award. The CCR website address is http://www.ccr.gov. Prospective contractor shall complete electronic Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at the following website address: http://orca.bpn.gov. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to bid opening to ensure a proper and timely response. The Government reserve the right to cancel this solicitation. This is a Presolicitation Notice.
