- Description
- The United States Secret Service (USSS), as a law enforcement agency, has a requirement to provide Investigators with current and accurate commercially available information on persons and businesses both foreign and domestic. This information shall be web-based. Information shall be accessible with a minimum number of known identifiers and searchable based on different combinations of these identifiers. This information needs to be interfaced with software enabling the records to be physically and electronically captured. Additionally, this information needs to be accessible twenty-four hours a day. Vendors are required to provide twenty-four hour technical support. The information requested may include some or all of the following: - Vital Statistics - Tax information - Numeric personal identifiers (DOB, SSN, Passport numbers) - Vehicle ownership (automobile, motorcycle, airplane, boat, recreation vehicles) - Telephone numbers associated with the individuals (landline and mobile) - E-mail addresses - Residence and/or P.O. Box addresses - Family members and known associates - Individuals with shared address - Criminal / Civil proceedings - Home Mortgage and Automobile loan information - Liens / bankruptcy proceedings - Marriage licenses and divorce proceedings - Weapon permits - Professional affiliations - Professional licenses - College and Advance Graduate Degrees - Banking / Credit card information - Frequent Flyer information - Volunteer organizations - Non-profit and not for profit business information. This request for information is not a request for proposal, nor does it constitute a current or future government requirement. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the government to enter into a contractual agreement. Any information, or data, provided to the government is strictly voluntary and at no cost to the government. Note on Proprietary Information: It is not the USSS intent to publicly disclose vendor proprietary information obtained during this request for information. To the full extent that is protected pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act and other laws and regulations, information identified by a respondent as Proprietary or Confidential will be kept confidential. ISD, P.O. Box 6500, Springfield, VA 22150. No samples or data will be returned to vendors who respond to the request for information. This RFI is amended to close on Friday, 8/31/07. Vendors are requested to submit questions to the project manager listed above prior to closing. In lieu of submission of questions and or formal responses, vendors may request a face to face discussion of this RFI and or demonstration of their products or services. Anticipated dates for presentations are scheduled to begin September 5, 2007. The purpose of exchanging information is to improve the understanding of Government requirements and industry capabilities, thereby allowing potential offerors to judge whether or how they can satisfy the Government's requirements, and enhancing the Government's ability to obtain quality supplies and services. 1. Is this opportunity going to be procured under DHS EAGLE? A: The USSS has not determined if this requirement will be procured under DHS Eagle, because this is a request for information (RFI) and not a solicitation for proposal, nor does it constitute a current or future government requirement. Please feel free to provide any information showing your company capabilities to meet this requiremenscussion or demonstration. 16. Are the responses to be submitted in a particular format or length? A: Your Company?s responses should be provided as you deem appropriate. The USSS is attempting to locate new and innovative commercial database providers. The USSS would encourage your company to provide a sample of your product via pamphlet, screen shots or other means. Any material you provide will not be returned. 17. Does Commercial Database for USSS refers to acquisition of COTS system to manages the types of data referenced or whether it is to procure the data itself (from services such as Choicepoint, Acxiom, infoUSA, Equifax, Dun & Bradstreet)? A: Your Company would determine where your source of information originated. Your company would organize and compile the data and provide a clear and complete report based upon the searchable information provided ie: telephone number, name, address, etc. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (07-AUG-2007).
