- Federal Business Opportunities Information SOLICITATION NO. W9128F-08-R-0002 On or about 7 November 2007, this office will issue Request for Proposals for construction of the ADAL INTELLIGENCE SQUADRON FACILITY at OFFUTT AFB, NEBRASKA. The solicitation will close on or about 6 December 2007. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED AND OPEN TO BOTH LARGE AND SMALL BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. A tentative site visit date has been scheduled for 20 November 2007. Provisions in the solicitation documents will provide detailed information (meeting place, time, points of contact, and access requirements). See 'Obtaining Solicitation Documents' below. Project Description: This is a Fully-Designed Project. The work consists of additions and alterations to the Intelligence Squadron Facility to include remodeling 19,910 square feet of the original facility; construction of a two-story addition at 26,363 square feet per floor as well as a 1,051 square foot link between the original and new buildings, for a total of 54,323 square feet. New construction consists of reinforced concrete foundation, slab, steel framing, masonry walls, membrane roof, fire detection/protection, utili ties, SCIF, site improvements, pavements, communication and all other necessary support. Interior demolition work includes HVAC and fire protection demolition, and electrical removal and relocation. Mechanical work includes piping, new plumbing and fixtur es, rainwater drainage, ducting, and new fire protection system. Electrical work includes power and lighting, new panels, wiring, communications, security and alarm systems, lighting fixtures, and site communications. Exterior work includes excavation, s ite demolition, site preparation, earthwork and fill, a 264-stall parking lot, pavement and curbs, landscaping and fencing, sanitary sewer, gas lines, site electrical, and site mechanical. This project will comply with DoD force protection requirements pe r unified facilities criteria. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $10,000,000 and $15,000,000. Submissions will be evaluated based on a best value approach considering technical elements for evaluation (i.e., Construction Experience, Construction Past Performance, Key Construction Personnel, Project Management, Utilization of Small Business, Schedul e, and Price.??An adjectival method of evaluation will be used to evaluate the technical factors.? Obtaining Solicitation Documents: This office will no longer send copies via paper or CDS of amendments and solicitations to interested parties. Solicitation documents will be posted on Federal Technical Data Solutions or FedTeDS. FedTeDS is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safe guard acquisition-related information. When solicitation documents have been issued and posted to FedTeDs, synopsis or pre-solicitation notice will be amended and a link provided to access FedTeDS in note 2 below.
